Origins
The story of Swaans Beton goes back more than 55 years. As a manufacturer of prefab concrete, the company started manufacturing products for applications in the agricultural sector from its premises in Heeze, the Netherlands, in 1961.
As a result of strong growth, Swaans Beton opened a new manufacturing site in 1979 and the next family generation joined the company.
In 1983, John Swaans took over ownership, after which the company enjoyed more growth in the next decades. This resulted in market leadership in the agricultural sector.
Transition
Strong product innovations also gradually created a connection with new markets, including civil engineering, road construction and hydraulic engineering but also the cultivation sector.
As a result of this diversification, production capacity was further expanded in 2012, which is when the branch in Weert opened its doors.
During the subsequent period, the company became a versatile manufacturer with a clear positioning in various markets, namely:
- Infrastructure
- Agriculture
- Cultivation
- Hydraulic engineering
- Sports & recreation
The three manufacturing sites are equipped with the most advanced machines and facilities. Each day, the company delivers high-quality products to a wide range of project sites at home and abroad.
